Backups you export list your valuables and serial numbers. Keep them somewhere safe and don't post them online.

What's in your home, and where are the records?

List what you own room by room: what you paid, what it would cost to replace (your estimate), and where the receipt and photos are kept. You get one organized record, saved on this device, to share with your insurer if you ever need it.

Mark a room done when you've listed everything in it. Rename rooms, add your own, or remove the ones you don't have.

Walk-through checklist

How to use it (30 seconds)

  1. Press Load sample data to see 15 items in four rooms, or Start my own list.
  2. On Items, pick a room, type what you own and press Add item. The room stays selected, so you can keep adding. Give each item a replacement estimate: what it would cost to buy new today, your estimate.
  3. Write down where the receipt and photos are kept, for example "Phone album: Home inventory / Living room". Photos and receipts are not stored in this file.
  4. On Rooms, mark a room done when it's finished. Missing lists what has no receipt location, no serial number or no estimate.
  5. On Report, print by room or download a CSV. Export saves a backup file; Import restores one.

This file lists your valuables and serial numbers. Keep it and any exported backups somewhere safe, and don't post it online.

Helps you document your belongings. Not insurance advice: it doesn't tell you what your policy covers, what to claim or what you'd be paid. Check with your insurer or agent.
