Cover every school-break weekday
Add your kids, your school breaks, each parent's PTO and your camps and sitters. You see which weekdays still have no one, how many PTO days each parent has left and what care will cost.

Kids
Names, and ages if you like. Cover can be different for each child.
School breaks
Copy each break from your district calendar: its name and its first and last day. Only Monday to Friday count.
Days off for everyone
A single date when school, work and care are all closed, such as an observed holiday. These count as covered and use no PTO.
Parents and carers
Type the PTO days each parent is planning with for these breaks, from your own records. The planner only counts against the number you type. Weekdays a parent doesn't normally work count as covered automatically.
Camps and care
Add each day camp and sitter with what it costs. The days you give it in the Grid are the days counted as booked. The planner counts a camp's weekly fee for every week with at least one camp day, even if a holiday closes the camp that week. Tick the credit box if your camp takes closed days off the fee.
Separated parents
A scheduling aid. Your parenting plan or court order comes first. This only counts the labels you choose: a parent's PTO days and regular days off count as that parent's care, and you pick the label for every other day. It makes no suggestions about who should have the children.
