Currencies and exchange rates
Add each currency you'll spend in, and type the rate yourself: "1 EUR = 1.10 USD". Change a rate and every amount converts again.
Exchange rates are the ones you type in. Check your bank's rate.

Type what you expect to pay. Open a line to add the day, time, who paid and what you actually spent.
Daily allowance
Set a food or spending allowance once and add it to every day of the trip. Run it again after you change the amount, the dates or the travelers: it updates those lines and keeps what you logged.
The Print button at the top prints the itinerary on this tab and the one-page budget summary on the others.

Things you might do, not yet on a day. Ideas don't count towards your plan until you move them onto a day.
Savings countdown
Lines you mark "Paid before the trip" on the Budget tab are already covered, so they come off what's left to save.
